What to Expect When Weather Becomes an Issue for Your Senior Portrait Session

As a high school senior photographer, I understand how important your portrait session is. Weather can sometimes throw a wrench in our plans, but rest assured, I have a plan in place to handle it smoothly.

Constant Weather Monitoring

I treat the weather like my second job on the day of your session. Think of me as your personal weatherman. I constantly monitor weather conditions and keep you informed. If it looks like bad weather might affect your session, I will notify you with ample notice—usually two to three hours in advance. This way, you won’t be caught off guard.

Flexible Rescheduling

One of the key aspects of my service is flexibility. If the weather is unfavorable on the day of your session, don’t worry. I build flexibility into my schedule to accommodate rescheduling without any extra charges. We will work together to find the next available date that suits both our schedules and offers better weather conditions.

Interrupted Sessions

In case the weather turns unexpectedly bad during your session, I have a fair policy in place. If we have to stop the session due to rain or other adverse conditions after 30 minutes into your 90-minute session, we will reschedule the remaining time. For example, if we manage to complete 30 minutes before it starts raining, we will reconvene at a later date to complete the remaining 60 minutes.

No Extra Charges

There are no additional fees for rescheduling due to weather issues. My goal is to ensure you get the best possible experience and photos, regardless of the weather challenges we might face.

Remember, your senior portrait session should be a fun and memorable experience. Weather is something we can’t control, but with my proactive approach and flexible policies, you can be confident that your session will go smoothly, come rain or shine.
