I’m a senior photographer, educator, and podcast host based in the Midwest.

I photograph high school seniors who want to feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera, and I help photographers build businesses that feel more organized, intentional, and sustainable.

Hi, I'm Sarah

Senior Photographer, Educator and Podcast Host based in the Midwest

How I got here

Photography started as a creative outlet and quickly became a way for me to connect with people in meaningful moments.

Over time, I realized something important:
great photos don’t come from rushing or forcing the process—they come from trust, guidance, and experience.

That belief shapes everything I do now.

My approach

Whether I’m photographing seniors or teaching photographers, the focus is the same:
  • create clarity
  • remove overwhelm
  • build confidence

I value thoughtful planning, calm systems, and experiences that feel supportive from start to finish.

For Seniors

Senior portraits should feel exciting—not stressful.

I guide each senior through outfit choices, locations, and posing so they can show up feeling prepared and relaxed. Parents can trust that their senior is in good hands and that the experience is just as important as the final images.

For Photographers

I teach photographers how to work smarter, not harder.

That includes workflows, client experience, modern tools, and honest conversations about what it really takes to run a creative business—without burnout.

Outside the camera

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outdoors, thrifting, creating something with my hands, or enjoying a slower pace of life. Those things matter to me—and they influence how I run my business.
