Pinterest inspired this session! That edgy, sultry confident images of girls in the studio drew me in from the beginning. I mean they must feel like they are invisible and that they can accomplish anything they set their mind to. Just look at these photos what is the first thing that comes to your mind? And wouldn’t you want to have photos like this too?

Senior photography studio session

A 40-minute session with just the senior and me, (sorry mom your going to have to sit this one out). Booked during my off-season (December-April). Offered in a pop up studio in my home with one outfit is the perfect session for senior girls. This session is being offered to past senior clients that I have captured in the past, or current senior clients who book a regular session with me. This can not be booked as a stand alone session. Senior outfit recommendation is keep it simple and edgy

We will be working with a white backdrop, senior outfit ideas would include:

• Off the shoulder top, cropped tank tops, tank tops, body suits, button up shirt that can be worn off the shoulder, etc.
• Jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses, etc.
• Color recommendations black, charcoal, white, navy blue, maroon, forest green, olive green, etc.
• Avoid fluorescent colors.
• Wear shoes that compliment your outfit.

Senior photography session make-up and hair

Recommendations for your hair and make-up is keep it natural! Keep your hair style natural. Do your hair as if your going out with your girlfriends looking for that cute someone. Add some curl, add a beach wavy, straighten it, add a lil depth and flair to your hair. We will be swishing it, jooshing it, playing with it and blowing it out with a fan, lol.

Keep your make-up simple. Do your make-up like you would do if you were going to prom. Bonus add some colored lip gloss for fun factor!

Please try to avoid a spray tan days before your session. You know that weird orange tint that you get following a spray, we don’t want that to show up in your images. If you do get a spray tan please do it a week before your session so it had time to wear off. We don’t want that ugly orange wear off that you see on your hands to show up in your pictures because your hands are going to be all over your face, and hair.

How to get the most out of the senior photography studio session

OK here is the key to this session – be ready to LET GO and let your INNER badass confident self come out to play. It may take 10-minutes for you to open up and trust, eventually you will warm up and feel comfortable and confident.

AND please don’t look at these photos and say there is no way I can look like this! Trust me you can and don’t be too afraid to try. I will be your guide to get you into a pose and you will take it from there. The more carefree you are about it the more your images will shine.
