September weather in Wisconsin can either be dry and beautiful or wet and cool. But either way if you love the cooler temps and the smell of fall, this is your month. I personally love the month of September.

You can count on tall fields of grass, typically more brown than green at this point of the year. If your looking for that fall vibe September and October are your months. In the early months of September you can field zinnia fields but much later in the month the flower fields are typically done.

What to Wear

September is a great month to wear your longer sleeves, sweaters, jeans, shackets, layers, etc. Wearing layers adds so depth and dimension to your photos. It’s also a great prop!
