Is July the right month for you to book your senior photography session? Let’s dive into what to expect for weather, outfits and look at what the landscape could look like in July in Wisconsin.

WEATHER: Booking July Senior Photography Session

July typically can be a HOT month, with temps ranging from 80s-upper 90s. Of course this varies from year to year but for the most part expect HOT temps. If you are someone who sweats easy this not the month to book your session. You would be better off to book a June, September or October session. In July we will have less of those pesky gnats, but more biting mosquitos, so plan on bringing a bug spray of some sort.

Landscape: Booking July Senior Session

July in Wisconsin, you can expect to see green trees, short green pastures, green grassy fields, queens ann lace lining the road banks, tall blooming thistles in the pastures, greenery growing on the sides of buildings, golden brown wheat fields, and all the wildflower fields are starting to bloom. What to Wear

Because it’s hot, expect to wear, shorts, tank top, t-shirt, summer sundresses, rompers, cropped tops, body suits, jeans, etc. If your a sweater weather type person this is not your month, though you can try and wear a sweater but you won’t be in it long.
